Varsity Letters hasn’t even celebrated its fourth month serving B.C.’s high school and university sports communities, but we’re determined to keep a long-standing tradition alive.
For the past 10 years, beginning in 2007, I have collected and published the names of B.C. high school graduating student-athletes who were set to continue studying and playing sports at the university and college level, in Canada and the U.S.
The B.C. Recruits List will now have a new home at VarsityLetters.ca but it won’t be as all-encompassing as it can be without your help.
Our goal is to publish the names of every Grade 12 boy or girl in B.C. who will be continuing their athletic careers in the fall at the post-secondary level.
If you are, or you know of, a graduating Grade 12 student-athlete in B.C., send us name, height, high school, post-secondary destination, and the sport (and position) they play. High school athletic directors are encouraged to submit lists by school as are community sports organizations.
They can be headed to U Sports, CCAA, CJEP, NCAA, NAIA or U.S. junior college.
All details can be sent to varsitylettersbc@gmail.com and our list will appear in early July.
Thanks for your help
