Thanks for finding me here at my new home.

 

VarsityLetters.ca is B.C.'s only website dedicated solely to telling the stories of the student-athletes and coaches who make our high school and university sports community amongst the most vibrant of its kind in North America.

 

Yes, we'll bring you results of the big games and moments across all high school and university sporting events in this province, but above all, we want to do it through what I like to call 'portrait storytelling'.

 

Making our subjects as relatable as possible is our mandate.

 

I have over 30 years of prior experience covering both of these beats in the print journalism world at a number of newspapers including the Vancouver Province for the last 26 years, where I also covered the NBA's Vancouver Grizzlies.

 

I hope you will make us a regular part of each day and trust that I will always be 'on the beat' in search of new and exciting stories to tell!
