LANGLEY — The B.C. high school girls basketball scene in 2019-20 has a fresh, new look as powerhouse programs re-load and newer, less-established programs filled with rising young talent begin to find their stride.
That’s what we’re confident you’re going to see later next month at the senior girls 20-team, 2019 Tsumura Basketball Invitational, set to run Dec. 11-14 at the Langley Events Centre.
Like the boys draw revealed last week, the girls event will open midweek with a four-game opening round Wednesday sectional, its winners each joining the remaining 12 teams in the quarterfinal round.
Final Four Friday will be followed by championship Saturday as most of the best girls teams in the province take part.
