Rich Goulet Celebration: Still plenty of available tickets to honour late B.C. high school coaching great on Nov. 7 in Pitt Meadows!

PITT MEADOWS — If you are still interested in attending next month’s ‘Celebrating the Wonderful Life of Richard ‘Rich’ Goulet’ event, being held in honour of the late, great B.C. high school basketball coach, there is still plenty of room available.

The Nov. 7 gathering for the Pitt Meadows Marauders and St. Thomas More Knights head coach is still set to take place at the Meadow Gardens Golf Club in Pitt Meadows beginning at 1 p.m.

Due to restrictions brought on by the COVID pandemic, attendance was being limited to 200 people, although there is the possibility that seating capacity will increase before the event, based on evolving health guidelines within the province.

Nonetheless, event organizer Dave Goulet, concerned that many people, out of respect for those closest to his uncle, were not requesting tickets so as to save space for others, says they need not worry.

“I’m sure that there are people thinking they should leave space for others, but I don’t think that’s necessary,” Dave Goulet explained. “I’m hoping for a good celebration.”
