B.C. Senior Boys Basketball 12.04.19 rankings: Burnaby South lives up to Quad-A No. 1, Triple-A Sir Charles Tupper hot out of the gates

LANGLEY — It was a topsy-turvy opening for B.C. senior boys basketball as many top programs welcome back multi-sport athletes, while others move younger players into bigger leading roles this season.

Nothing, however, slowed the progress of the Quad-A preseason No. 1 Burnaby South Rebels.

Here’s a look at all four tiers of Big 10 rankings:

BOYS

1 Burnaby South Rebels (4-0) (LW-1)

Last week — Won all four games to finish first at Heritage Woods-Kodiak Classic Nov. 28-30. Def. Walnut Grove 90-56, def. St. George’s 90-62, def. Kelowna 76-62, def. Handsworth 90-50.

This week — Tip off Thursday vs. A.R. McNeill-Seaquam winner in Sweet 16 round of 20-team Tsumura Basketball Invitational at Langley Events Centre. Dec. 10 host Mt. Boucherie.

3 Centennial Centaurs (Coquitlam) (3-1) (4)
