04.18.18 AAA Top 10: Sardis Falcons grab No. 1 spot in B.C. girls soccer ranks after Riverside upsets Centennial

LANGLEY — PoCo’s Riverside Rapids have cut short the stay of crosstown rival Centennial atop the B.C. senior girls AAA high school soccer rankings.

The Rapids claimed a 1-0 win over Coquitlam’s Centaurs one day after last week’s poll was issued, and the upset moves Chilliwack’s Sardis Falcons into the No. 1 slot this week.

The Falcons, UBC Invitational champs, are also sitting with a 3-0-0 league record in the Fraser Valley East standings, having outscored their foes 23-1.
