02.11.25 edition: B.C. senior girls basketball rankings: Topsy-turvy tumult hits Quad-A! Top five of largest tier thrown for a loop as Argyle Pipers climb to the top of the heap!

LANGLEY — Everyone wants to peak at the right time, especially with provincials tipping off in two weeks.

While the rest of B.C.’s tiers remained relatively static since the last polling period, the Quad-A ranks have undergone some mighty upheaval and as the dust clears, coming off Tessa’s Tournament, North Vancouver’s Argyle Pipers are standing tall as the new No. 1.

Argyle opened with a 71-61 win over former No. 1 Seaquam, beat former No. 4 Riverside 88-83 and then finished with an 84-68 win over resurgent Oak Bay.

Argyle, Seaquam and Riverside sit 1-2-3 in the latest rankings, while Abbotsford’s Yale Lions, on the strength of a 64-53 win Langley’s Brooskwood Bobcats are at No. 4. Brookswood sits at No. 6.

Yale went into their game with Brookswood ranked sixth, while the Bobcats went in ranked No. 2.

What does it all mean?

How about an incredible 75th anniversary B.C. tourney which caps off its four-day run in Arena Bowl on Saturday, March 1?
