LANGLEY — It’s a wire-to-wire run at No. 1 for both the Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers and the Vernon Panthers respectively in the VarsityLetters’ Big 5 AAA and AA football rankings.
Both Panthers went perfect in league play, and both are attempting to win Subway Bowl senior varsity titles for the first time.
Lord Tweedsmuir lost in the 2005 Double A title game, while Vernon lost in last season’s title game.
Vancouver College, also undefeated in conference play, moves up to No. 2 at Triple A this week.
Here’s our final set of Big 5 rankings for the season, along with updated schedules (times, locations, venues) for the first of four Subway Bowl playoff rounds, Friday and Saturday.
We’ve also included last week’s complete regular-season finale scoreboard.
