TBI Boys 2024: Who’s playing who in both 16-team draws at Tsumura Basketball Invitational? We’ve got the full draws right here for the LEC’s preseason spectacular!

LANGLEY — It’s time to start the official countdown to the tip-off at the 2024 boys and girls Tsumura Basketball Invitationals, once again set to run front and centre over the first two weeks of December at the Langley Events Centre.

Today, we will present the draws for the boys TBI (Dec. 4-7) which includes both its Super 16 and Select 16 brackets, and tomorrow we’ll do the same for both the girls TBI (Dec. 11-14) Super 16 and Select 16 brackets.

This year, we asked for the input from the head coaches of the 64 combined girls and boys teams taking part, requesting they rank all 16 of the teams taking part in their respective 16-team TBI tournament.

In total, 45 coaches took part in this process.

Yours truly also cast a 1-16 vote in each of the four separate tournament pools, and when we shook all the numbers out, we plugged them into the standard 16-team NCAA bracket format.

From there, we made very slight adjustments to insure that no games in either the first or second rounds, including Day 2’s consolation side, would involve matchups between schools from the same league.

Once again, we feel confident that the vast majority of games throughout the tournaments will be hotly-contested affairs.

Just wanted to get the draw out to you as soon as possible.

When our dedicated staff at the Langley Events Centre is able to provide us with the actual starting times for Days 1-4, you’ll find those here first at Varsity Letters.

So, here’s the boys draws, with the girls draws to follow Thursday, Oct. 17:
