Cinderella Fraser Heights Firehawks, No. 1 Walnut Grove Gators set for B.C. junior girls title clash today

LANGLEY — Surrey’s Fraser Heights Firehawks started life at the 2018 B.C. junior girls basketball championships as enough of a long shot that they had win a game early Wednesday’s on the opening day of competition just to become a part of the event’s  main field of 16 teams.

LANGLEY — Michael Sapic is thrilled that his Semiahmoo Totems players are enjoying the sweet taste that comes with repeating as B.C. senior boys AAA volleyball champions.

LANGLEY — There were more than a few sage experts who felt that Surrey’s ‘Little Team That Could’ would be in for a real battle just to qualify for the Big Kahuna B.C. Boys Triple A volleyball championships, which opened Wednesday at the Langley Events Centre.
