B.C. senior girls Top 10 hoops rankings! As 2022-23 tips off, it’s Riverside, McMath, Mulgrave and Credo sitting as the team’s to beat!

LANGLEY — A new season of B.C. senior girls high school basketball begins next week.

And to get you ready for the all big opening tip-offs, Varsity Letters presents the latest official pre-season rankings at all four tiers.

It’s a talented quartet off tiers to be sure, and what makes it even more interesting is the fact that two reigning champs and two runner’s up comprise the four early-season No. 1’s.

At Quad-A its the team that lost to crosstown rival Terry Fox in the title game: PoCo’s Riverside Rapids.

At Triple-A, it’s the team that beat Abbotsford’s MEI Eagles to claim gold in Richmond’s R.A. McMath Wildcats. (Note, Pitt Meadows was added to the honourable mention status on Nov. 26)

At Double-A, West Vancouver’s Mulgrave Titans may have dropped its title finale to Langley Christian, but they ascend to the top spot to start 2022-23. (Note — An updated version of the 2A rankings was issues Nov. 26).

And at Single-A, it’s the reigning champion Credo Christian Kodiaks of Langley who remain in the highest perch.
