B.C. senior girls basketball Top 10 rankings! Preseason polls rate Riverside, SMUS, Mulgrave as teams to beat for B.C. hoops glory!

LANGLEY — A pair of defending B.C. champions, and a silver medallist from a season looking to strike some elusive gold of its own this season.

That’s the back-story behind three of B.C.’s best teams, each of whom carry No. 1 rankings into the new 2023-24 campaign.

Quad-A B.C. champion Riverside Rapids of PoCo and Double-A B.C. champ Mulgrave Titans of West Vancouver each start were they finished at the the provincial tournament last March, ranked No. 1 in the latest preseason polls issued by B.C. Secondary Schools Basketball Association.

Triple-A No. 1 SMUS Blue Jags of Victoria look to finish one spot higher this season following its title game setback last season against the Abbotsford Panthers.

The provincial Single-A Top 10 rankings will be added here when issued.
