LANGLEY — Welcome to the biggest high school football weekend of the season thus far.
We’ve got our first No. 1 vs. No. 2 when Abbotsford’s Robert Bateman Timberwolves travel to top-ranked Langley to face the Thunderbirds in an epic AA clash at McLeod Stadium (7 p.m.).
We’ve also got the No. 2 Mt. Douglas Rams of Victoria travelling to Burnaby Lake on Friday (2 p.m.) to meet the host and No. 3-ranked Notre Dame Jugglers in a battle of unbeatens.
Other than that?
How about the newest rankings, this week’s complete schedule, and all of last week’s scores?
It’s another edition of Varsity Letters’ B.C. High School Football Weekend Survival Guide!
And remember to look out for this week’s VL Players of the Week! As a bit of a hint, each of our two honourees have great connections to the history of our game in this province.
