B.C. Girls Top 10 Volleyball Rankings 10.02.19: Dover Bay, Notre Dame and Mt. Sentinel the big movers, No. 1’s hold ground

LANGLEY — Here are the latest B.C. senior girls Top 10 volleyball rankings:

*At Quad A, Nanaimo’s Dover Bay Dolphins staked a claim to Top 10 territory coming off a Final Four showing and eventual silver-medal finish at the Vancouver Island University Mariners invitational. No. 6 Claremont held firm with a win over the Dolphins.

*At Double A, Vancouver’s Notre Dame Jugglers continued their upward journey. Two weeks ago they were No. 10 last week No. 5 and this week No. 3, the latter courtesy of a league win over Little Flower Academy.

*At Single A, the Wildcats of Mt. Sentinel in South Slocan jumped up five spots to No. 3 after claiming first place at the Kootenay Volleyball Classic. The ‘Cats defeated Elkford twice including in the semifinal, and Fernie twice, including in the championship final.
