LANGLEY — It was the perfect weekend from which to form the perfect conversation about the state B.C. senior girls high school basketball.
The precise topic?
If you combined all four of the province’s tiers into one stew, what would your overall Top 20 look like?
A couple of insiders gave me what they thought the bones of just such a list would look like, and with their permission to tweak on gut instinct, here’s a one-time B.C. Top 20 girls power poll.
Coming at a time where 2A and 3A teams are looking like the real deal, following Okanagan Mission’s win over Britannia in Saturday’s TBI final, it’s sure to ignite some arguments.
Remember, it’s not official.
All four tiers of B.C. girls basketball (as well as all four boys tiers) are expected to issue their respective Top 10’s later this week.
Included are 11 Quad-A teams, five Triple-A teams and four Double-A teams.
So, in the name of fun, let the discussion begin:
