LANGLEY — The defending B.C. AA champion Abbotsford Christian Knights are picking the right time to begin their peak.

At Double-A: The Knights cut a huge swath all the way through to the title at the B.C. Christian Schools Championships which they hosted Friday and Saturday.

Stationed at No. 6 to begin the week, the Knights beat former No. 2 Langley Christian and former No. 1 MEI, as well as Single-A No. 1 Vernon Christian en route to the tourney title, and as a result have moved into the No. 1 spot.

At Triple A: Victoria’s Oak Bay Barbers moved up two spots into the top three of the province’s largest tier after defeating former No. 4 Mt. Boucherie, former No. 3 Claremont and Double-A No. 3 George Elliot before falling to No. 2 Kelowna in the finals of the Thompson Rivers WolfPack invitational in Kamloops.
