LANGLEY — B.C. Basketball Metrics’ latest SRS Boys Top 50 would have No. 1 Spectrum vs. No. 4 Kelowna, and No. 2 Oak Bay vs. No. 3 Dover Bay if the Final Four was tipping off Jan. 20.
(As I add a day after posting, thanks to loyal reader Jack Showers, that of course isn’t possible with just two Vancouver Island berths. It’s yet another sign that your loyal author needs to find other things to do with his time.)
The latest risers, those holding ground, and those falling are all on view with this week’s latest numbers.
Victoria’s SMUS Blue Devils made the biggest climb within the Top 50, moving six spots to No. 44.
Vancouver’s King George Dragons moved five spots to No. 29. Abby’s MEI Eagles and the Handsworth Royals of North Vancouver each rose four spots, to Nos. 16 and 20 respectively.
Newcomers?
Gidgalang Kuuyas Nay debuts at No. 35, Pitt Meadows at No. 41 and A.R. MacNeill at No. 50.
