The B.C. Recruits List 2018: Student-athletes, please answer our last call for names!

LANGLEY — It’s still not too late to be a part of Varsity Letters’ 2018 B.C. Recruits List.

Beginning next week, we will unveil the post-secondary destinations of hundreds of B.C. high school student-athletes, as well as informing you of the entire incoming classes of student-athletes at all of B.C.’s universities and colleges.

But we don’t just want you to read it!

If you are a graduating B.C. high school student-athlete who will be continuing to play your sport at the post-secondary level in 2018-19, or you are the parent, sibling or friend of one, please give us the details to make our list as complete as possible.

We need ALL of the following information for inclusion on the Recruits List: Name, high school, university destination, sport, position, height.

We need ALL of those categories, including height.

As well, we’re also interested in any student-athletes from outside of B.C. transfering or entering a B.C. university or college, or a B.C. university athlete transfering to play their sport at another school in U.S. or Canada.

Destinations include U Sports, all divisions of the NCAA, any CCAA school, any U.S. junior college, the NAIA, prep schools, or CGEP institutions.

However we need the information immediately. We’ll take submissions through noon Monday.

Please send all information to me at howardtsumura@gmail.com

Our 2018 list looks very comprehensive, and if you are one of the many who have already sent your information, fear not, we have it. But like we said, we want to get as many names as we can!

Thanks for your interest and we hope you will enjoy seeing the scope of this province’s multi-skilled student-athletes when we begin publication of our recruits, by sport, beginning early next next week.

Stay tuned.
