PORT COQUITLAM — Oh how far they have come in just 12 months. A year ago, at this very juncture of December, one week into the 2017-18 season, the Terry Fox Ravens were preparing for the opening round of the Tsumura Basketball Invitational as the only unranked Quad A team in the elite 16-team field.

Legal Beagle 2018: Mand, Stanyer and rest of young-and-restless Ravens carry Terry Fox’s spirit to centre stage

PORT COQUITLAM — A funny thing happened to Port Coquitlam’s Terry Fox Ravens en route to being the only non-ranked, non-honourable mention team among the entire 16-school field which took part in the Tsumura Basketball Invitational about four weeks ago at the Langley Events Centre: They advanced all the way to event’s Final Four.
